Hello Wolf Scouts and Parents,

BE SURE TO BRING YOUR PINEWOOD DERBY CAR AS WELL AS YOUR COLLECTION TONIGHT!!

Thursday, January 21, 2010, tonight's the final weigh in for our Pinewood Derby Cars so please remember to bring your cars with you and if you are not sure if your car will make weight (remember it can not weight more than 5 ozs but get them as close to that weigh as possible) then make sure you bring in any extra weight and/or tools that you make need to make any needed adjustments.  (Remember there is a link on website with all the Derby Race Rules.)  After the weigh-in, they will collect your car and you will not be able to make any more adjustments to your car.  Race Day is the Saturday at 10 AM.  Mr. Carlini and I are so excited to see what wonderful cars our wolves have made. 

Also, please remember to bring in your collections tonight.  Since weigh-in time will vary for each individual scout depending on if you need to make adjustments or not we have decided to use tonight as an opportunity for our scouts to share the collections with each other and complete Requirements #6B & 6C.  Each scout should bring in their collection (or a portion of it, if your collection is really large).  They should also be prepared to talk about their collections:  What it is, why they collect it, what they like about their collection and what they would like to add to their collection (for example: a special baseball card like Babe Ruth)

I will also have the Leather Tools with me as well; So, if your scout has not completed his embossing on his wallet and would like to do so, please bring the wallets in as well.
