Spring Clean Up @ Maplemere

Thursday May 15th - 6:30 PM

The birds are singing, the temperature has risen (well sort of, brrrr...) and the snow has finally melted away. Maplemere Elementary School has always been very generous in allowing us to use their facilities and their equipment, so the time has come for us to return the favor. Please join us as we plant some flowers and tidy up the grounds at Maplemere.

We ask that you please bring trash bags, rakes, trowels, watering cans and any other equipment that you think may help us to get the job done quickly and efficiently!
If you have extra equipment to share, please feel free to bring it along! The same goes for people; the more the merrier, so if you have a friend or relative with nothing planned for this day then go ahead and invite them along so that they can get out of the house and get some fresh air while doing a good deed at the same time!

Scouts can wear their Class 'C' uniform (Yellow Pack T-Shirts)

Pack 444 Says Goodbye & Hello On The Same Night

Our Blue & Gold Dinner on Thursday April 24th was an emotional and exciting evening as Pack 444 watched as their Webelos II Scouts crossed over into Boy Scouts, said their goodbyes to several long-time leaders, and afterwards got the chance to meet, and to welcome, their replacements.

Departing Leaders
Cubmaster Ken Wojtkowski
Committee Chair Lynn Olson
Treasurer Randy Leising
Den Leader Carol Wojtkowski
Den Leader Cindy Ostrye

New / Replacement Leaders

Cubmaster Nick Ruber
Treasurer Bill Stoj
Wolf Den Leader John Duffy
Asst. Bear Leader Becky Silverberg
Tiger Leader Christine Stewart

Cub Scout Pack 444 would like to thank all of the departing leaders for their hard work. We are grateful to all of you for the time and effort you've dedicated to our Pack over the years. Your contributions to our Pack have been greatly appreciated. You will be missed!

To our new and replacement leaders, we would like to thank you for volunteering! Finding people who are willing to volunteer their time to help is often quite a challenge; packs often fade away without people like yourselves who are willing to step up and assume leadership positions. You've helped to ensure that our Pack will remain strong and secure for several more years!  Welcome and thank you!
