| Summer camp runs for four
action packed days and, and three nights. The boys
have tons of fun playing games, swimming,
fishing, boating, archery, shooting bb guns,
crafts, and learning outdoor skills/nature. Every
scout that has attended
Camp Scouthaven in the past has had a
blast and wanted to return the following years.
Camp Scouthaven provides all meals, as well
as comfortable sleeping
arrangement: cots with mattresses in large tents that are
situated on raised wooden platforms.
The cost for 2009 summer camp has yet to
be announced, last year the cost was $265 per cub
scout/accompanying parent/grandparent/guardian. If the cost is beyond your family's
financial budget, please see
to discuss additional
support from the pack. All such requests will be kept
confidential.
This year the Council has announced a new
payment schedule:
- $100 deposit (Per Pack, NOT per
person) due in September
- $25/camper due 1/23/09
- Full payment (TBD) due by 4/17/09
If we meet this schedule, we will receive
a 10% discount.
